First visit to your property

We begin with a site visit to Verona or the surrounding province — Vicenza, Mantova, and Lake Garda are within our regular travel area. The designer records dimensions with a laser measure, photographs architectural details, and notes services, radiators, and floor levels that will affect the joinery. You talk through how you use the space; we listen more than we sketch on the first day.

CAD drawings and revisions

Within ten working days we return plan and elevation views showing proposed cabinetry, panel heights, and internal layouts. Drawings are produced in 3D so you can visualise depth and shadow gaps around handles. Two rounds of revision are included in the design fee; further changes are charged at €85 per hour once production drawings are issued.

Material and finish samples

We bring timber samples to your home — oak, ash, walnut veneer, and painted lacquer chips — so you can judge colour under your own lighting. For stone worktops we coordinate with our Verona fabricator to supply offcuts of Carrara, Calacatta, or local limestone. Sample approval is written into the contract; production does not start until you sign off.

Coordination with other trades

Joinery often interfaces with electricians, plumbers, and flooring contractors. We issue setting-out dimensions for socket positions behind bi-fold doors and specify floor build-up where plinths must sit flush. If your project involves an architect or interior designer, we attend coordination meetings and share drawings in DWG format.

Design fees

A single-room survey and concept package starts at €450. Full kitchen or wardrobe design with 3D visuals and production drawings is €1,200–€1,800 depending on complexity. The fee is credited against your order when you proceed to manufacture with Grabb Palan.
