Internal doors to match your joinery

We make flush and panelled doors in the same timber and finish as your fitted furniture so hallways read as one coherent design. Standard height is 2,100 mm but we regularly produce taller doors for vaulted ceilings in converted barns outside Verona. Frames are built from laminated oak for stability; architraves can follow existing profiles or a simplified contemporary section.

Pocket and sliding systems

Where floor space is tight — common in city-centre apartments — we install pocket door systems with Eclisse or similar steel frames set into stud walls. Sliding doors on visible tracks suit walk-in wardrobes and kitchen pantries. We calculate clearances and soft-close mechanisms before the builder closes up walls, and supply setting-out drawings for your contractor.

Window shutters for Italian facades

External shutters are built from Accoya or Iroko for weather resistance, with traditional pegged mortise-and-tenon frames and adjustable louvres. We match hinge centres to existing stonework on Verona palazzi so new shutters sit in the original rebates. Internal plantation shutters in painted poplar are an alternative where external fixings are restricted by heritage rules.

Fire and acoustic ratings

For commercial conversions and multi-unit buildings we supply FD30-rated door sets with intumescent strips and certified ironmongery. Acoustic doors with perimeter seals achieve up to 35 dB reduction — useful between home offices and living areas. Certification paperwork is provided for building control where required.

A pair of standard internal oak doors with frames and ironmongery starts from €1,650 supply and fit. Pocket door systems including frame, door leaf, and installation typically run €2,200–€3,400 per opening. External louvred shutters for a 1,200 mm-wide window are from €980 each, finished and hardware included.
